While the dev may not officially support it I can verify for those interested that there is a Linux version that gets downloaded with the Windows version and it runs fine for me so far.
Thanks. I figured it worked as well as the others since Renpy produces the builds for each. But I wasn't able to test it myself. Good to know it works for you.
